1. Introduction
Customer Experience Assessments respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us or enquire about our services.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Your name and business name
- Your email address and telephone number
- Information you provide through our website enquiry form
- Details of your business and the services you are interested in
- Correspondence relating to your enquiry or our services
- Technical information collected through website hosting, cookies or analytics
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary for our business activities.
3. How We Use Your Information
We may use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and requests for information
- Communicate with prospective and existing clients
- Provide customer experience assessment services
- Prepare reports and other agreed deliverables
- Maintain business records
- Improve our website and services
- Meet applicable legal obligations
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
4. Customer Experience Assessments
Paid assessments are carried out with the agreement of the business that commissions them. A free sample assessment is based on one ordinary enquiry call made to a business as a potential customer, and is used only to prepare the sample assessment and to follow up with that business.
Information collected during an assessment is used for the agreed assessment and reporting purposes.
We do not record telephone calls; we make written notes of the enquiry. Reports refer to roles, such as “the person who answered”, by default. Where a client asks, staff names can be included to recognise good service and support coaching. We aim to limit personal information in reports to what is reasonably necessary and appropriate for the services provided.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
We may use trusted service providers for website hosting, email, online forms and business administration.
These providers may process or store information on our behalf, including outside Australia, depending on their systems and locations.
We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.
6. Storage and Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for our business purposes or applicable legal requirements.
7. Website Cookies and Analytics
Our website is hosted through WordPress.com, which may use cookies and related technologies for website functionality, security and analytics.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
8. Access and Correction
You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
We will consider requests in accordance with applicable Australian privacy requirements.
9. Privacy Enquiries and Complaints
If you have a question or concern about how we handle personal information, please contact us using the details below.
We will review your concern and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.
